SUBJECT: Golden opportunity to participate in ISEPC’s Organized Fair in “Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada under MAI Scheme of  Deptt. of Commerce from 19-21, August 2019: Reg: -

Dear Members,

We have the pleasure to inform you that ISEPC is organizing participation in Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada to be held from 19 – 21 August, 2019, which will take place in The International Center, Toronto, Canada.

 1.    About Sourcing Magic Fair:

Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada is the only major international trade show in Canada that brings Canadian buyers and sourcing professionals access to suppliers from all over the world. ATSC brings retailers, wholesellers and online/e-commerce resellers contract manufacturers in dozens of product category and its is a permier destination to meet International Apparel, textile, home textile & décor, fashion and fabric manufactures and leaders. In the last show it has been reported that 3000 buyers and 500+ international manufactures and participants participated in the show and organize fashion show on the 2nd day of the show.

2.   Fair Venue & Dates:

The venue for Sourcing Zone at Apparel Textile shall beThe International Centre, Toronto, Canada.

       Set up day           18th August, 2019

       show dates          19th to 21 August 2019

3.    Avail benefit in participation fee on account of MAI grant from Ministry of Commerce:

The costs for 9 sq mtr build up booth (approx) as per specification of Fair authorities is Rs. 1.80 lakhs.

4.     Participation Charges: The participation charges does not include air-fare, hotel expenditure or any other kind of personal expenses (logistics etc):

Early Bird Discount with 100% payment Rs. 10,000/- per stand

Eligibility for financial assistance under Market Access Initiative (MAI)  scheme shall be governed by theNotification No. 11/197/2016-E&MDA dated 16.02.2018 issued by the Department of  Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, (E&MDA) Division  regarding eligibility for availing MAI grant.    Since this is a Govt sponsored MAI approved activity for abroad, GST is not being charged and TDS if deducted should be @ 2%, since, the Council is playing the role of coordinator / facilitator and not receiving the payment as rental.

The Council reserves the right to refuse participation to any applicant in case not found eligible as per MAI guidelines or it oversold, without assigning any reason.

5.    Reimbursement of travel claim:

Participants in this exhibition shall also be eligible for reimbursement of airfare (economic class), if approved & sanctioned by Ministry of Commerce, as per terms and conditions laid down by the Deptt of Commerce vide their letter of 17th January 2019 and subject to ISEPC’s Exhibition Committee approval.

6.   Payment Mode:

Demand Draft, Pay Order or Cheque in the name of “The Indian Silk Export Promotion Council” (payable at New Delhi) may be sent  at New Delhi Office of Silk Council at 1302-04, Ansal Tower, 38, Nehru Place, New Delhi – 110 019, India;

7.    Facilities to be provided in the fair:  During the fair days, the participants will be provided two veg lunch (if outside food is allowed by the Fair Authorities) on complementary basis by the Silk Council;

 Booth Package: (Standard Booth – 9 sq mtr

One 3 x 3 m grey carpet, 3 m long by 2.5 m high hardwall, one ID sign with black and white lettering, nine mounted hangbars, three armlights, one table, three standard chairs, one rolling rack, one reception counter with lock, one trash bin with bags.

8.    Guidelines for allotment of the booths:

1. All  participants who have paid the full participation fee in time would be considered for allotment of booths through draw of lot;

2. No change in the booths, once allotted would be entertained under any circumstances;

3. The decision of the Chairman (Exhibition Committee)-ISEPC, would be final and binding in case of any dispute;

4. The participation is on FIRST-CUM-FIRST SERVED (FCFS) basis till all booths are sold;

 

9.  Waitlist:

In case, applications are over-subscribed, a waitlist will be maintained, which would be considered on FCFS basis. Applicants are advised to ensure that they possess necessary visa to enter USA at their end. No request for refund will be entertained by ISEPC if for any reason whatsoever visa is not granted;

 10. Cancellation Policy:

The member exporter who has applied for participation in the Fair, the withdrawal request will be subject to the following guidelines:

(i)  45% of the participation charges will be forfeited if the exporter withdraws after confirmation of participation by the Council (after receiving of the payment confirmation receipt) and other exporters on wait list confirm their participation;

(ii)  There will be forfeiture of 65% of participation fee if no other exporter is on the wait list to take the stand;

(iii) 100% forfeiture in case of no show to the fair;

(iv)  In case of non-grant of visa to the person whose name is declared on Application Form will be entitled to refund of application money after deducting 10% of participation charges as admin cost;
